Dear Keith and Colleen,
Thankyou for our 3 days in Launceston (Tasmania).
We travelled to Tasmania for a family celebration; Peter’s brother was having a 50th Wedding Anniversary which was in the midlands of Tassie on the Saturday.
Due to our TC reward we were able to go down and spend 3 days in Launceston which is our home town where we were married, lived and our children were born. During these three days we were able to catch up with a lot of our friends individually, re-living our very active social life of the early seventies.
Our Hotel was an old Ambulance Station when we lived there but as it was a heritage building it had been renovated and changed into a 4.5 star boutique Hotel, our room was really nice and relaxing. It was indeed a great way to celebrate our reaching TC and re-charge the batteries for the road ahead.
We did a great trip down memory lane and checked out the two properties we owned but the best part was to re-visit the house my parents owned before we were married, a beautiful home Georgian Style, my Dad sold it because it was a mammoth job to paint it, now we have made it a goal to purchase the property when we are RVP, it is in need of a bit of attention.
